Reliance Jio launches My Jio Pack to offer 2GB extra data to prepaid customers
The Jio Data pack is similar to the pack the operator had introduced in March this year which provided 2GB daily data benefit.
However, there’s a catch, the operator is providing this pack to its users on a random basis. So, prepaid customers can verify the availability of the pack by heading to the ‘My Plans’ section within the MyJio app, where they can find the information under their mobile number.
It should be noted that the operator started crediting the ‘My Jio Pack’ to its users starting April 27 and April 28, consequently the expiry date of the data plan may vary between May 1 and May 3, basis the date on which the data pack was enabled for them.
Jio recently said that most of the mobile recharge outlets are available and customers who have not been able to recharge their account during the lockdown can avail the recharging facilities to continue availing incoming calls on their phones.
The company on March 31 had announced that users will continue to receive incoming calls even after expiry of the prepaid account during the difficult situation developed due to spread of coronavirus infection.
“Majority recharge outlets will be available starting 20th April,” Jio said, adding that customers can do recharge through online payment platforms, bank ATMs and also through associate programmes.
