Eligibility Criteria for Four Wheelers

Additional Incentive for Purchase of Electric Vehicles (EVs)
(a) Beneficiaries will be entitled to purchase EVs costing up to 5 Lakhs more than the limits stipulated in the table above.
(b) Beneficiaries purchasing an EV for the first time can purchase the EV after six years of previous four-wheeler purchase. However, the next purchase (EV/ Diesel/ Petrol/ CNG/ Hybrid) is permitted after a gap of eight years only.
Eligibility criteria for other AFD-I items (viz) Two Wheelers/ AC / Fridge/ Washing Machine/Laptops/Desk ops etc.
(a) TVs: Two TVs in a block period of four years.
(b) ACs: Four ACs in a block period of four years.
(c) Other AFD-I Items (Less Four Wheeler): No Change (One in Four Years) from the date of last purchase.
The following category of canteen smart card holders are authorized for other AFD-I items:-
(a) Armed Forces personnel (Serving & Retired).
(b) Civil Defence Employees (Serving only).
(c) Gap between purchase of same item/two-wheeler to be of minimum four years from the date of last purchase.
