Eligibility Criteria for IIM Raipur Assistant Security and Fire Safety Officer
To be eligible for the IIM Raipur Assistant Security and Fire Safety Officer Recruitment 2026, candidates must fulfill the following mandatory requirements:
- Ex-Servicemen Status: The applicant must be an Ex-Serviceman retired/released from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, or Indian Air Force.
- Rank Requirement: Must have retired at the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) or Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) or equivalent.
- Medical Category: Must have been discharged in the SHAPE-1 (fully fit) medical category.
- Service Record: An Exemplary service record is mandatory at the time of discharge.

- Certificate in Security Training, Fire Safety, or Industrial Safety from the Service Records Office.
Work Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in security operations, fire safety, or emergency response within the Armed Forces.
- Proven experience in supervising security personnel, managing fire hydrant networks, and emergency evacuation planning.
- Experience with CCTV surveillance and liaison with civil police/fire departments is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates for the IIM Raipur Assistant Security and Fire Safety Officer Recruitment 2026 will receive the following:
- Consolidated Pay: Equivalent to the minimum of Pay Level 6 (7th CPC), starting with a Basic Pay of Rs. 35,400/- per month.
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA) and other admissible allowances as per Institute rules.
- Pension Protection: Service pension will not be deducted from the consolidated emoluments.
- Accommodation: Mandatory on-campus residence is provided by the Institute.
