Lucknow: In a major move against LDA illegal construction Lucknow, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has demolished an unauthorized colony being developed behind Amausi Airport. The enforcement team used bulldozers to clear structures that were being built without any sanctioned maps or government approvals.
Major Action Against Illegal Plotting
The site, located in a prime area near the airport, was being developed in violation of urban planning standards. LDA officials confirmed that the developer had failed to obtain the mandatory layout approvals. As part of the LDA bulldozer action, the entire plotting area and initial structures were razed to the ground to prevent further unauthorized sales.
LDA’s Warning to Property Buyers
Addressing the issue of illegal construction in Lucknow, the authority has warned the general public to remain vigilant. Before investing in any property, buyers must:
- Check LDA Approved Maps: Ensure the project has a valid approval number from the authority.
- Verify RERA Details: Cross-check the project’s registration on the RERA portal.
- Avoid Unplanned Colonies: Investing in unapproved sites can lead to financial loss and legal trouble.
LDA administration has reiterated its commitment to the planned development of the city, stating that no illegal colonies will be allowed to bypass the regulatory framework.
